e-learningによる従来の学習観や教員の役割の変化，e-learning教材の作成・公開・共有，各国でのe-learningの普及と特色などを解説し，それらを踏まえた上でe-learningが教育とどうかかわってきており，今後どうかかわっていくのかについて述べる．自身のe- learningを用いた授業経験を交えながら，国内大学におけるe-learningを利用した授業実践例を挙げ，その効果についても述べる
