My general approach to scholarship has a cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural focus. My areas of speciality include applied contemporary aesthetics, Caribbean cultural studies, and intercultural communication. My recent research interests focus on Japanese cultural aesthetics, everyday aesthetics , social aesthetics, and Content Language Integration Learning (CLIL).
