I teach Spanish in the target language, which I think provides students with more opportunities to learn real Spanish. As for my research, I work on analyzing the factors that contribute to making a translation from Japanese into Spanish more transparent.

GIDE. This research group aims to achieve better quality in the teaching of the Spanish language. For this, it develops activities focused on the study and research of teaching materials, methodological proposals for the class and evaluation methods.
CANELA. This International Association aims to study and discuss issues related to the Literature, Thought and History of Spain and Latin American countries, and the Methodology of Teaching Spanish Language and Linguistics.
