①自由貿易体制は、世界貿易機関（WTO）の多国間体制が基礎で、その上にFTA（自由貿易協定）などの地域貿易協定がある重層構造だ。これが弱体化しているのは、①多国間自由貿易体制の衰退②米中デカップリング（分断）と安全保障・通商の接近③サプライチェーン危機――が原因だ。

学部、大学院、ロースクール共に無料のブログサイトを利用し、ネット上で殆どの教材を配信している。特に大学院、ロースクールは少人数教育であるので、レポート提出等もメールを通じて行っている。

学部・国際経済法の授業においては、比較的履修者数が少ないので、前任校（大阪大学）在籍以来法科大学院の準備運動を意識した授業を展開している。特に授業の中心となる世界貿易機関（WTO）協定は判例法によって発展しているので、配布物に判例評釈を多くし、授業中にソクラティックメソッドに準じて判例の内容や含意を問う機会を増やし、双方向的な授業のあり方の感覚を身に付けさせている。

昨今の学生のノートテイキングの技量の低下を補完し、また講義に集中させるために、講義内容のエッセンスは毎回レジメ化して配布している。学生にはその余白に書き込みを入れることでレジメに沿って理解を進めるよう指導している。
