    Japon Pluriel 14 – Périphéries et centres, 14 629-240, Jan, 2024  Peer-reviewedLead author
Edited by Mayumi Shimosakai and Aline Henninger. This chapter quantitatively examines the positions of female Liberal Democratic Party members of the National Diet since the 2000s on political issues related to gender equality. It shows that a diversity of positions exists within the party on these issues and that no clear consensus necessarily emerges.

    Japon Pluriel 13 - Résistances, conflits et réconciliations, 13 487-500, Feb, 2022  Peer-reviewedLead author
Edited by Yannick Bardy, Pauline Cherrier and Gérald Peloux. This chapter examines the process leading to women’s first candidacy in Japanese national elections during the 2000s and 2010s. It analyzes individual and party-organizational factors affecting the recruitment of women candidates and considers the mechanisms contributing to women’s political underrepresentation.

This master's thesis examines women elected to the House of Representatives in the December 2012 general election, focusing on their social and political backgrounds and their positions within political parties. Rather than treating women parliamentarians as a homogeneous group, it highlights the diversity of their career trajectories and examines women's political representation in Japanese politics.
