My recent projects are focused on providing teaching/learning materials for the Japanese language through Internet sites which can be easily accessed by learners for self-study or for catching up with class lessons. The Internet Room for Kanji provides sample sentences for kanji and vocabulary. The Facebook study page ("TERAKOYA Tutor-Bunko") provides “cognitive illustlations” for grammar and vocabulary. Tutor-Bunko's main page provides reading materials for advanced level learners. The materials are generally designed for learners to “feel close” to the newly introduced Japanese grammar & vocabulary so that they can recognize and understand Japanese way of thinking from an early stage of learning.

日本語教育学会春季大会2010, May 23, 2010, 社団法人 日本語教育学会tutor.bunko(URL;http://basil.is.konan-u.acjp/tutor/bunko/)は、自律学習用読解教材コンテンツと読解教材作成支援システムを備えた日本語学習支援サイトである。「内容中心語学教育」の考えに基づき、質の高い日本語の内容を理解し、考え、発信、意見交換するという学習の流れを目指す。また、tutor.bunkoの教材作成のために開発されたe-chutaシステムによって、学習者の負担軽減、誤読会費の仕掛けを組み込んだHTML作成がインターネット上で可能になった。”学ぶ”素材と”作る”道具を提供するtutor.bunkoを紹介。
