Journal of Occupational Health Law, 2(1) 169-173, Jul, 2023 InvitedIn relation to the liability of building material manufacturers in lawsuits about asbestos from construction, the Supreme Court has made a new law in relation to Liability of Joint Tortfeasors by presenting a legal principle on the analogical application of the second sentence of Article 719(1) of the Civil Code. This paper presents an overview of this Supreme Court’s decision and examines the evaluation of academic theories surrounding this decision.
