My name is Vaivrand Cavin. I am currently a full-time middle school English teacher in Japan and a PhD student attending Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan. My research interest regards learners’ motivation, translanguaging, and pedological practices that can apply to the Japanese EFL classrooms and young learners in eikaiwa institutions and public schools, particularly in secondary and middle school.
