In this experiment, the difference between an expert and a beginner, beginners' tendency were analyzed use the videodata. As a result, it was able to classify into the beginner who cannot do touch typing at the tendency of three types. Moreover, the merit which masters touch typing was also able to be proved by measuring the time of beginners' useless motion. From now on, I will analyze beginner typists' typing characteristic, a motion of the finger in a process, a time lag for every character.

Web-based e-Learning has a big issue how to find out possible dropouts in an early stage of the course and to guide them to the desirable goal. This paper represents the analysis on the relationship between students’ lecture records and student activities for a blended-type e-Learning course for Java Programming. Based on the analysis, we proposed a check-sheet for detecting possible dropouts in the early stage of the course, applied the proposed check-sheet to some e-learning course, and obtained that the proposed check-sheet can be able to detect at-risk students.

We measured carbon dioxide concentrations in a learning environment. Observations took place 24 days from Oct. 22, to Dec. 10, 2009. Through these observations, we obtained that there is a correlation between the number of students in the classroom and carbon dioxide concentrations. Amount of ventilation and air exchange rate change depending on the day of the week. These difference are effected by date, time, classroom. Measurement value exceeded 1,500ppm in some cases. We indicate carbon dioxide concentration measurement results using portable sensor help improving the learning environment. In Live E! project, we are developing weather monitoring units that are equipped with connectivity to the internet at a lower cost. Using this Internet-based framework, we will be able to collect the measurement results in several places and make the learning environment improve based on the detailed analysis.

2007年からLive E!プロジェクトの一環として各地に設置したデジタル百葉箱からサーバへ集められた気象データを取得し、各気象データ（気温、湿度、気圧、雨量、風向、風速）を可視化させる気象データ可視化アプリケーションの構築をプロジェクト体制で行っている。本研究ではアプリケーションの機能追加やより使いやすいアプリケーションにするためにデザインを変更し、ユーザビリティの向上を目指し，教育の場に適用したことについて報告する．

本学の単位認定型完全e-learningの科目で情報系の講義である「ソフトウェアデザイン」において、昨年度までに各コンテンツの利用状況と成績との間に相関がみられるか解析を行ってきた。その結果、コンテンツの利用状況と成績との間には関係があることが明らかになった。その結果を用いて今年度の授業に向けてコンテンツの改善・追加が行われてきたが、より正確なデータを得るためさらに細かい解析を行う必要がでてきた。そのため本研究では昨年度までに得られた結果からさらに追跡調査を行いコンテンツ作成に役立てていくと共に、必要な解析結果をすぐに得ることができるような自動解析ツールを設計し、授業の実施から解析・コンテンツの改善までを一連の流れとした運用モデルを提案する。この運用モデルにより、完全e-learning型講義の内容を学習者の学習状況にあわせて迅速に対応させていくことが可能となる。

We have developed e-learning contents that cover Java programming basics. We applied our system to department junior year on a trial basis this spring semester. In this paper, we introduce full details regarding our system, brief summary of contents, operational procedures, and report result of course evaluation.

We have developed "PC Maestro" that is a broadband content including videos and animation for studying Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. In this paper, we introduce HTML version that adopts a new approach to original system. Learners write html sources and style sheets using the proprietary editor and are able to confirm how the browser show the source immediately. Department freshmen were required to use this system for their class. Consequently, PC Maestro html version received acclaim from students.

We are continually looking for new ideas to let our students understand "message passing" within object-oriented programming. In this paper, we propose new idea associated with to using LEGO MINDSTORMS for teaching object-oriented programming. Jesle which is implemented using LEGO models is a convenient way to build physical programmable models without having to know anything about hardware. Most important point is that the students who studied using Jesle seem to understand a better concept of what an object is and what message passing is.

頭にちょっと思いついたフレーズを簡単に音として残したい、またメロディをどんな音色で演奏したら良いか簡単に試してみたい、音色を多種作りたいなどの動機のもとに、将来人間の思いついた短いフレーズをもとにしての幅広い作曲支援システムを目指すもととなるシステムとしてのMUSIC SYSTEMについて述べる。具体的には、曲の入力を行なうためのエディタとして五線譜表示によるキーボード入力を行なう「音符エディットモード」、更に音色エディタとして音色の変更や作成を行なうための「音色エディットモード」、そして入力された曲をさまざまな形で演奏させ、更には何通りかに変奏させて演奏のぞきる「PLAYモード」。この3つのモードに分けられる。「PLAYモード」においては「逆演奏システム」の実現も行なっている。
