Abstract The Jurisprudence under the wartime regime in Japan: 1931–1952. In 2016, a book was published in Tokyo with the title “Senji-taisei to Hōgakusha: 1931–1952” (The Wartime Regime and Legal Scholars: 1931–1952) as the first collective work about sixteen diverse legal scholars under the economic and political system of total war in Japan. This invited article summarizes the main points of the book from the viewpoint of one of its editors and explains why it was written now, and why not until now.

大学院の授業で、参考文献やサイトの情報および受講者の提出物を共有するため、Googleグループを利用。メール配信もこちらから行っている。2008年度からは、実験的にゼミでも活用。

2003年度から、西洋法制史の授業でパワーポイントを利用している。とくに地図や人物など、ビジュアルで捉えたほうが断然わかりやすい部分を、積極的に取り入れている。
（教育実績）ゼミ論文集の作成

Apr, 2002

ゼミ所属者には秋学期の終わりにゼミ論文提出を義務付け、所属者と相談のうえゼミ論文集を作成。現在まで、ゼミのある年はほぼ毎年作成している。
（教育実績）レポートの書き方の指導

Apr, 2002

ゼミ論文作成の前に、レポート作成のための史料・文献検索の方法を指導。インターネット上の関連検索サイトやOPACの使い方を端末で確認し、中央図書館の関連図書・雑誌の配置場所などをじっさいに足で回って案内している。文献引用時の注意、註のつけ方などについては、個々の報告のときに指導。
